This is a request from us, the people of Turanga, regarding our land which is suffering under the government's legal arrangements.
This is our submission about our land to the committee to investigate why this land is suffering.
We request that the committee thoroughly investigate this serious problem that is affecting us and our people. Our land that lies within all this trouble should be removed from these laws and government arrangements. This land has been mortgaged for goods, potatoes and alcohol.
Therefore, we agree for this matter to be examined by law and forwarded to the committee who will present it to parliament. The name of this land is Te Ruangarehu.
